Water channel normalization on Jalan Haji Isa I, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta now reaches 50 percent.

Pesanggrahan Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Field Coordinator, Halim, said the channel normalization is based on resident' request along 74 meters.

He hopes the newly normalized water channel will be able to prevent inundation especially during heavy rain.
One of local residents, Hadi (52), thanked the Pesanggrahan Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit's response for normalizing the channel.
According to him, the channel was unable to flow the water smoothly.
"Hopefully the channel will flow the water smoothly and prevent inundation," he hoped.
